Whether “blasting” with water, sand, powder or most other media, additional time and money must be spent to contain and clean-up those medias. Not the case when Dry Ice Blasting! At contact, the dry ice sublimates, leaving only the actual waste that was removed.

Dry Ice Blasting is proven effective without being abrasive! No need to protect wiring, hoses, bearings, or roll surfaces. In addition, the fear of shorting electrical equipment, or even worse, electrocution, is all but eliminated in comparison to using water!

Dry Ice Blasting is a great alternative to solvents for most cleaning applications. It can save countless labor hours, eliminate dirty solvent disposal, and thoroughly cleans the tightest nooks and crannies.

Two different forms of dry ice are used for cleaning surfaces. Readily available block ice can be “shaved” into a granule form. For tougher jobs, small pellets sometimes referred to as “drice” is used. Pellets unfortunately are not produced until ordered, normally requiring several days notice prior to the project. OC Industrial Services is capable of providing either form.
